Project Details

Lynchburg College’s Drysdale Student Center is a 30,000 square foot building addition and 20,000 square foot renovation to the existing building. The building additions include a new fitness facility, game room, conference center and office spaces.The composite structure includes cast-in-place concrete, pre- cast concrete planks, masonry, structural steel, heavy timber framing and cold-formed metal framing. The entrance to the student center is accented by a three-story atrium with a steel and terrazzo spiral grand staircase. Renovations update LC’s existing dining facility, campus bookstore, post office and kitchen. It is described by their Dean of Students as the “Crown Jewel” of the campus.
